The Brenta Riviera has always been considered such as the ideal extension of the Canal Grande in Venice and offers you a lost world made of richness, beauty and nature. On board of our motor-ships you will have the exclusive opportunity to navigate this luxurious route admiring wonderful villas together with their beautiful gardens, once summer residences of the venetian nobles. The most important artists worked here for the richest families of the Venetian Republic and the most famous personalities were guests in these beautiful mansions. Three locks, ten swing bridges, thirty-three km with more than eight metres of difference in level mark this excursion in the venitian territories; a cruise so rich in history, culture and nature.

Departure from Fusina (Ve) – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays:

ITINERARY

• 09.00 a.m.:meeting with our guide at the landing stage to in Fusina (Ve), boarding on the motorboat and navigation upstream along the Brenta Canal. We will pass through the very ancient Moranzani lock, built in the 17th century following a Leonardo da Vinci’s technical plan.
• 10.30 a.m.: Arrival in Malcontenta where you will have the possibility to visit the very famous VILLA FOSCARI “LA MALCONTENTA” (that is to say: "the unhappy"), planned by the Renassaince master Andrea Palladio and completely decorated in its rooms by Giambattista Franco and Giovanni Battista Zelotti (ticket € 10,00 p.p.).
• Noon: arrival in Mira and, according to the disposability of the villas, optional visit to VILLA BARCHESSA VALMARANA (ticket € 5,00 p.p.), very pretty guest house with beautiful frescoes created by Michelangelo Schiavoni, or to VILLA WIDMANN (ticket € 5,00 p.p.), splendid villa planned by Andrea Tirali at the beginning of the 18th century and painted in frescoes by Giuseppe Angeli.
• 01.00 p.m.:our bord kitchen will serve you a typical fish lunch based Venetian recipes with the following menù: aperitif: Bellini, hors-d'ouvre: shrimps and pickled anchovies, first course: Fusilli alla Marinara (pasta with seafood), main course: mixed fried fish, vegetables in season, wine and water, fruit, coffee, cover and service.
• 04.00 p.m.arrival in Stra and optional visit of VILLA PISANI, which is now a National Museum (ticket € 5,00 per person + € 1,00 p.p. booking fee; free for EU citizens under 18 and over 65 by showing a personal document + € 1,00 p.p. booking fee). The Villa was based on a plan by Girolamo Frigimelica, later modified by Francesco Maria Preti and was meant to celebrate the election of Alvise Pisani as Doge in 1735. In the apartments you will admire the beautiful decorations created by the most famous Venetian painters during the 18th century. Tiepolo's masterpiece "Glory of the Pisani Family" graces the ceiling of the ballroom. In the gardens you are going to discover the famous maze of hedges, in which Gabriele d'Annunzio places the love games of Stelio Effrena and the young lady Foscarina, protagonists of his novel "The fire".
• 05.30 p.m.: end of the excursion and of all our services.

On request and with additional charge** - only for groups with minimum 45 persons – it is possible to start the excursion with the navigation in the Venetian Lagoon and the panoramic view of St. Mark’s Basin. The boarding will be absolutely at 07.30 a.m. in Fusina.

Our tour leaders will be at your disposal to illustrate you the wonders of the Brenta Riviera on board and taking you inside its majestic villas.

The price includes: navigation, lunch on board and our tour leader.

The price doesn't include: the tickets of the villas which have to be paid directly on the spot, the return to the embarkation point and what else is not expressly mentioned in our program.

• Panoramic View of St. Mark’s Basin: 10,00 € p.p. - navigation on board of the boat which is available at the moment of your final booking
• Departure/Arrival from/to Padua: 10,00 € p.p.
• Groups only and on request in advance have the possibility to visit the following villas: Villa Foscarini Rossi: € 8,00 p.p., Villa Badoer Fattoretto: € 8,00 p.p. or Villa Widmann: € 5,00 p.p.

The entrance fees to the villas could be subjected to changes by the management trust.
